Central Church Core Values
1. The Word- we value God’s Word. His Word is infallible. He has given us His Word to teach, correct, challenge and lead all believers in righteousness.
2. Prayer-we value prayer. We believe that consistent prayer with God brings communion and power to the heart of all believers. It is an invitation to connect with our Creator and to pray for our fellow believers as well as the lost.
3. Worship- we value worship. We live to daily declare the worthiness of Almighty God and His Son, Jesus Christ. Worship is a lifestyle not a ritual.
4. Faith- we value faith. We live to walk by faith and not by sight. We embrace the promises of God as yes and amen.
5. Truth-we value truth. We believe and declare that God’s Word is the absolute truth. Therefore, we do not listen to the lies of the enemy, nor conform to this world.
6. Surrender-we value surrender. We are a people that live surrendered to Christ’s leading through the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in us and empowers us to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.
7. Generosity-we value generosity. We give generously of our time, our resources, our presence, and our prayers.
8. Service- we value service. We serve those around us by using our gifts and talents to help others and to honor Christ in all we do. We are the hands and feet of Jesus.
9. Mission- we value mission. We believe that Christ has commissioned us to go into all the world, share the gospel, and make disciples of all nations.Therefore, we go into our Jerusalem:home, neighbor, workplace & community, our Judea: city and surrounding area, our Samaria: our cross culture of immigrants, homeless & less fortunate, and to the ends of the earth through global missions.
10. Unity- we value unity. We believe that unity promotes oneness that is imperative for powerful ministry. We lay down our own agendas so the Lord’s purposes are fulfilled.
